Disasters rarely, if ever, provide a warning. It is up to us to make sure that we are ready for any disaster that may strike and take away some of our daily essentials. We strongly encourage you to take the time to Make a Plan, Prepare, and Stay Informed.

 About Georgia VOAD

Georgia Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (Georgia VOAD) is the Georgia state chapter of National Voluntary Agencies Active in Disasters (NVOAD). It consists of organizations active in disaster response throughout the state of Georgia. Georgia VOAD's role is to bring organizations together, enable them to understand each other and work together in a cohesive manner. To accomplish these goals, Georgia VOAD meets with its member organizations monthly to share information and training opportunities. These meetings also provide the opportunity to conduct business, plan, network, and provide updates on current disaster relief efforts.
